About Me

Hello Bronzed Babes,

I am Pamela, the founder of Tans by Pam and Everglo Tan. When I was in college, I began tanning but spent too much time in UV tanning beds. Three family members had been diagnosed with skin cancer and I immediately stopped my unhealthy tanning addiction. When I first moved to San Diego from Boston in 2014, I knew I wanted a safer way to achieve a flawless glow. I then started getting spray tans from a local spray tan artist. We had an instant connection and before I knew it, she was teaching me how to spray tan and run a tanning business! After that, I got my first tanning kit and I started tanning friends out of my tiny one bedroom kitchen.

Then, I started offering mobile tans when I lost my full-time job. After that, I opened a salon in La Jolla with a business partner. Now, I am back to doing mobile tans and also offering tans in my local neighborhood of Pacific Beach. Being a spray tan artist has brought me so much joy, especially after a client tags me in their photos, shares my business, and refers others to me. The biggest compliment is a referral, and I am eternally grateful for all my amazing and glowing clients!

In my spare time, I enjoy going on hikes, playing with my dogs, connecting with my girlfriends, and exploring new places with my partner.

Frequently asked ?’s

  • It is recommended that you wear dark and loose clothing. If you’ll be sleeping in it, it is best to wear some long sleeve / long pants pajamas or sweats to avoid your palms touching your body while you sleep. I also suggest having flip flops / sandals for footwear.

  • While I have tanned pregnant and breast-feeding moms, it is best to consult with your doctor first. We can always cover up your chest if we need to but you will want to avoid skin to skin contact until your tan is fully developed and rinsed.

  • Yes, of course! Please keep it professional though, I will not tolerate any suggestive language or actions.

  • Absolutely! I have tanned clients of all skin tones and have found this solution to flatter everyone.

  • The recommended development time is 4 hours. However, I personally prefer 6 to really get a darker glow.

I've had a lot of spray tans in my life, Pam is seriously so freaking fast, the tan was insanely beautiful, even, no streaks, the smell was barely there ( I also love the smell of a fresh tan) I was ready to go on vacation! I recommend doing two coats because it was PERFECT, like I had almond skin tone naturally. ZERO orange it was bronzed and beautiful. I'm obsessed and Pam is so so so so sweet.
